Falstaff is skint. So he decides to seduce the wives of two wealthy merchants. But these women friends ... Scandalised that Falstaff wrote them identical love-letters, they vow to play tricks back on him.

 

With the help of their husbands and friends, the merry wives lure him to a haunted forest and teach him a lesson he won't forget!
